The AI Robot is an inexpensive 2-in-1 with excellent maneuverability and clever features that make it a good option for homes with small spaces. It is fast and efficient on all kinds of floors, is rarely stuck, and has a huge bin in its base that needs to be emptied every 45 days. It even has an option that lets you to set boundaries for it so that it doesn't accidentally go into rooms or around objects you don't want it to come into contact with.

The only downsides to the AI Robot are that it's less reliable than my top overall robot vacuum (the insanely reliable Roborock Q5+) and it has a somewhat lower performance on high-pile carpet. It's also more loud, and can have trouble picking up debris from cracks between tiles or wood planks. It does have many of the features that I look for in a robotic vacuum like the capability to empty itself and is much cheaper than the iRobot Roomba 981.

This smart robot does a great job cleaning most surfaces. However, it's a bit weak on carpets with high pile. It's great on bare floors, though, and its sensor system is strong enough to get over tassels of carpet and electrical cords without getting stuck. It's also one of the only robots that has self-emptying docks that greatly reduces the need for hands-on maintenance tasks and the recurring costs.

The AI Robot, like the EZ Robot Self Empty and Matrix Robot is compatible with Alexa or Google Home devices so you can control it with voice commands. It's also compatible with iCloud, which means you can sync it to your iPhone or iPad and utilize the SharkClean app to control it from anywhere.

The app has a lot of options, but at times the interface can be a bit clunky. You can set up scheduling and boundaries as well as check the robot's health and charge status, set up reminders for upcoming cleaning sessions and much more. You can also make use of the app to connect your smartphone to the robot, allowing you to operate the robot from any location in your house and control its smart functions through the Wi-Fi connection on your phone or tablet.
